either way i've enjoyed this thread on both sides

time is looser in dreams. if you've got focus its possible to see potential timelines.

i agree, but sometimes its tough to recognize what is foresight in dreams and what is simply a random brainwave pattern, until the actual event happens...

i want to get to a point where i can see the symbols for what they are and act accordingly, rather than realizing them in hindsight...

maybe that's not possible, but i'd like to find out how if it is

Yeah, and that's my point. I don't know anything about gravity distortion other than when I saw them try it on mythbusters, but if it's true that you can reach incredible speeds with it, you can defy the speed of time and slow it down to cover great distances.

Time Travel = Space Travel

But if you still believe that time travel is about being able to smoke weed with lincoln, or going to 2013 tomorrow, then i implore you to present ANY scientific evidence that such a thing is feasible.

defy the speed of time? the speed of time is most certainly relative, imho

it's either [ X^2 + Y^2 + Z^2 – C^2 * T^2 ] or Image

depending on how you define time

i think there's a possibility of one day manipulating time or our place in time, i just don't think it will be in a way we expect

conventional wisdom about deja vu has it that short term memories are mistakenly regarded by the brain as long term memories....what you are dreaming is being considered as being remembered whilst, at the same time, the dream is occurring & being stored in short term memory. Hence you simultaneously experience it in real time whilst also recalling it as a memory.

sometimes it seems like you really don't want to talk about these things. when we get into it, your posts seem to get less involved...

have i told you my theory that the moon is not moving. that's why it is the same size as the sun in the sky from our perspective and that's why it passes right over it during eclipses. the moon ain't moving. we're just in this weird dimension that makes it look like it's moving.

oh, ok.

i think in the future, scientist will laugh about string theory the same way modern scientist chuckle about the ancients who believed the earth was the center of the solar system

but, that's really neither here nor there, now is it?

understanding our perception of reality as being a 3-d slice of a much broader energetic field of potential will never be remembered as silly i promise
