Really feeling the Stephen Bodzin album at the moment. Not actually minimal at all, but whatever. Got the epic building trance synth vibes going on, but it's quite teasing and restrained at the same time. Quite like Booka Shade, but better.

Also listening to a lot of Radio Slave. He has a bunch of remixes around at the moment and pretty much every single one of them changes the original into a 10+ minute cresendo. Am yet to hear any of them in a club, but at the right time in the morning I think I'd probably lose it quite seriously. Check out his remixes of Jamie Anderson - Time is Now and Trentemøller - Moan. Seems like they go on forever. Some proper hypnotic infinite techno.

Oh and if anyone doesn't check the mixes section: http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=24669
Starts deep housey, gets pretty trancey. But it's all technically 'minimal'.

You ain't too late.In my opinion some of the best Techno is being made right now.Check any of the artists mentioned in this thread especially Andy Stott or anything on the Modern Love label.Brilliant music good enough to rival any of the early works from the original Techno pioneers.

Andy Stott is a fairly solid producer but saying he's rivalling 'Techno pioneers' is a bit too much

Anthony Steele - Sugar EP came out yesterday. Is that the one? He's from New York. Don't know anything about 07.

some classic names:

Robert Armani - minimal techno used to be noisy too.

Octave One

Akilah Bryant & Dj SKULL, some old shit on Djax. Once again, a bit noisy, but minimal in execution. Always a good mix. I used to collect djax 12"s, the coloured vinyl with the Alan Oldham comic art, i'm not sure how many i still have in storage.

Pelucid from Vancouver back in the day

Mike Dred - ok so not shoegazing minimal at all, heh, abrasive beats at their best, miles away from the klicks & pops you hear now. BANG BANG BANG

noice

Anyone heard Samim - Heater?
It's a little silly, but it puts a smile on my face and makes me want to dance so I guess it's doing something right.

And shouldn't this be moved to the other music section?

Mike Parker, Stewart Walker-both worth checking if you like your techno with BASS.

Can't wait for the Supermayer album (collaboration between the Kompakt artist Superpitcher and artist and co-owner Michael Mayer for those not in the know). Glockenspiel action on their new 12" is the shit. Saw them play it out as a set starter and it was brilliant.

Edit: Oh snap, just realised the boomkat sample doesn't have the glockenspiel!

Samims tune, is a rendition of 'Allo 'Allo on crack!
Nah its a decent tune submerged in a wave of minimal junk so
it gets the thumbs up from me :)
