Yeah coz making a videao of some emo looking twat talking would change our opinion of his music.
Like everyone else got nothing against the guy, its his music. I though this would have been obvious? Its not like we know the guy, so i dont know how the confusion would ever have arision that it was him personally we dont like, and especially considering the type of shit music he makes.

Was too lazy to read through the whole thread, just thought i'd throw my 2 cents in here.
Do i hate Skrillex? No, like he said, ive never met him anyways.
Do i hate his music? Eh, its not my kind of thing, and ive heard worse.
The only thing that DOES bother me isnt his fault anyways. I dont like the kinds of people that say "i love dubstep so much, Skrillex is sick, blah blah blah, play harder shit". and its only cause im a selfish jerk and dont want these "new kids" crowding the place. I dont want rock shows, i want deep vibes.
And again, to each his own, im just sayin what i like/dislike.

Watched the video, and wow. I do not in anyway hate the man himself, but his music is horrid. Since when is it cool to crowdsurf at a "dubstep" concert? Did any of the DMZ crew do this? No. I genuinely cannot fathom how people can say they enjoy this music, it is just a bag of noise chucked together with no rhythm. Every noise changes within a nanosecond onto another goo-word zun zun zun zun sound effect.

i thought he was ok until he jumped into the crowd, and then started pissing around with that midi controller playing that horrible noise for like 20 seconds straight. you go to a night to see the dj mix, not show off to the crowd and jump on you. theres showmanship and just being a bit of a douche. reminded me of borgore when i saw him, his mixing was terrible and he was using serato. he was mainly just wheeling tunes and dropping next ones and spending most of his time showing off to the crowd, just sat down for the whole of his set until the decent acts came on.
fair play skrillex has the ability to produce polished sounding tunes, but creatively he is doing very little for the scene, his music is the dubstep equivalent of pissing in the sea, he's just adding to the already massive amounts of unoriginal brostep out there, rather than pushing the genre forward with his own sound.

he has very poor production game...
thats what i hate about him...
his songs are dirt. not in a good way.
he still has creativity, and a certain amount of composition skills... but they're far behind his mass appeal... he is def not an amazing producer.
his production lacks maturity, and encourages poor cultural knowledge of the whole heavybass thing...
his attitude, i dont give a fuck about it. i love miles davis.

I think the guy is definitely talented. His basslines are nice but the other musical parts aren't really my bag. I don't tend to listen to Excision/Datsik stuff these days but I still really appreciate and think they're very talented I'm just more into deeper uplifiting dubstep and other music now.
