Eh I would argue that it's different because language is a symbol used to represent something totally separate. There's no substance in a word itself. But art is all about substance in a way you can't escape.

No hate, I just think we were rolling stuff on logs before we made the wheel so it's not as special as you give it credit for.
It's helped a lot, but greatest achievement it isn't.

Wouldnt that be the wheel though? figuring out that something round can roll - then figuring you can utilise said log to carry things that you otherwise would struggle with??

Yeah maybe. I don't know the hstory of mankinds development well enough to say wether we were just making beasts of burden do all the work before or after the wheel came about. Maybe your suggestion has been overlooked by the rest of the ninjas. I still say the printing press though. Spread knowledge to the masses. The internet of its day.
