Yeah, but not half as painful as having to listen to james blake's music.

let me just take the time to get this all into year "indy" heads : BON IVER IS WORTHLESS OVERRATED PITCHFORK SPONSORED CRAP. Honestly, if Burial was supposed to be a marketing scam, then what is bon iver? So pretentious man...and I couldn't give a fuck about the whole story behind it, fact of the matter is it's produced in a shitty way. I mean, black metal recorded in some norwegian wood (like burzum), you know I get the charm (and the funny side) of that. But this just sound bad. And he can not for the life of me sing a single note correctly, but that's what is so hip in the indy/americana scene these days.

Bon Iver sucks ass....sorry people: haters gonna hate.

I'll stick to his new EP and skip on this worthless collab.
Bon Iver can't sing a single note correctly? Are we listening to the same Bon Iver? He's one of the best things to happen to the scene in the last couple of years. If you could stop automatically hating everything that's popular for just one second maybe you would actually start liking music.

Oh here we go... the indy police. Of course you are entitled to your opinion.

I think his high pitched voice is beyond forced and downright annoying. I guess I should thank the second rate production on that first record, otherwise my head could have exploded.

Check out "flume", every other line he stretches his voice where he shouldn't. I believe he can sing, if he used some propper tones. This is totally not my cup of tea, to me it sounds very contrived.
