enjoted the first season cos came at a good tiem for me, i think i was 17/18 so i was like 'omg dis is so tru i can relate'. plus it was actually (semi) well written.
the writing went really down hill after s2. watched maybe 1 episode of 3rd or 4th season and it was jst absolutely ridiculous.
tried excessively hard to be all edgy and cool and 'youthy'. tbf i dont think i would enjoy s1 if i watched it now, probs for same reason

Really? I was around the same age when it first came out and couldn't relate to it in the slightest and felt that most of the characters in it seemed like exactly the sort of stnuc I hated in school.

Jeez. Still on the skins marathon. I'm on season 3 episode 3. I feel like shit just watching this. Seasons 1 was great. Season 2 was good. Season 3 is.... meh.
This Cook character is ruining the show. Why the fuck did they have to get rid of Sid and Tony and Chris and Max and Cassie and all dem bitches.

where Im from there was a bunch f us (alternative types) that did a lot of chemicals partied alot and swapped partners. not swapped from day to day but theirs at least 12 of us whove slept with all the opposite sex from that circle (and sum the same). then when skins came out it seemed like it was a bit of a fuckinjoke cos they where trynna recreate that lifestyle but in a skippy for-tv-way. sign of the times really but we had fun.
all still mates now tho, not so much bed hopping as sum have settled down and have families but the memories are ace! mdma and free thinkin is a fuckin boss combination.
