Why thank you! It really means a lot, glad you enjoyed it! Guess i should post something now...
Not really a big fan of Rotator's other stuff, couple of good tracks, but nothing touches this: this is some of the first electronic music i ever heard (first music i generally i took interest in, in fact) and this track blew my mind those years ago, still give me the goosebumps:
We booked him about 2 years ago. He arrived on scene with a bunch of friends got fucked up very vast . They were a good bunch and many laughs were had before and after his set. During his set though, shit hit the fan.
He plays live of course (I can understand that, wouldn't try and mix that music with vinyl myself, though it is possible (they did it in the Nineties with ease). And he had brought his laptop without checking it first. The laptop kept freezing up after one minute (he was using ableton if I remember correctly). He insisted that the problem was power related: his laptop didn't receive enough power from the feed: so we had to turn lights out etc, in the end it was ridiculous: he just bagged his laptop without checking it was still functional: result no liveset and after 20 minutes Rotator walked off the stage. The funny thing is, he had brought enough merchandise to fill two sets. And turntables were present (we always have them for our residents ALWAYS play vinyl). => Perhaps no mixing, but he could have spun some records is what I was thinking...
Any way, he was a top notch guy (though he sort of refused responsibilty at first). Then offered to play again at half the price next time. As I said, all good laughs and all. But drugs and unpreparedness on his behalf did cost us on that particular night. Good lad though.

Lol, thanks for that. What did he take?

When I booked Rotator, he was totally sober and professional. When Bryan Fury didn't show up, Rotator filled in playing a Black Ham set completely for free. 'Hell, I'm here, so of course I'm gonna play'. Saved the night. And Teknoist's set was great too.

If there's one tune that desperately needs a release, it's this one. Even moreso than 'Feral Witchchild'. I was in that crowd when he played that and it's been almost 3 years ago.

Cool, will look into them. Looks like they might be a bit of a hunt though.
Also, that post you just made is too hard for me lol

It should be pretty easy to find on soulseek :0 I mean, your favorite mom's and pop's record store!
And haha I think there's a few softer things in there too. The DSC and the Christoph Fringeli tunes I think. Used to be that I didn't listen to any hardcore below 200 bpm, except for breakcore which could be intense enough at those bpms. Thank god I've grown out of it by now but I still love fast and hard shit.

The Fringeli tuen was like the hardest one! And i managed to get the releases, real good stuff.
Also, don't really know what to make of this... always hated Drop the Lime's tunes, and he came off as a massive prick in interviews, but this is just... eh?

HAHAHA, well at least he's kinda.. brave. But yeah I hate his more recent shit.. but his first house record.. can't recall what it's called, is pretty good.
His old shit is massive, though..
