Oh, tell us more! Nightwatch is fuckin sick, saw it first time probably two years ago and just bought the dvd.

I had to watch Lock, stock and two smoking barrels the other day. One of the best movies ever made. Now I'm bout to watch House Of Flying Daggers...

His best since Under Siege I shit you not. He does his own dubbing and everything. A throwback to his late 80's stuff. It rules!
you like the worst films, i swear! :)
:P :P :P

Oh yeah. If your dog gets put down on your birthday I cannot recommend this film enough.

Drives those blues away.

The science of sleep (la Science des rêves) - amazing surrealist film about dreams, perception with a touch of humour and romance. recommended.

Chronos --- beautiful timelapes alongside a continous classical miminal composed score for 40 minutes. made in the 80s i think so quite ahead of its time.

Afro samuari - sort of a series--animated blunt smoking ninja styles staring samuel l jackson.

Taxidermia - weird

Metropolis - 'silent' film from 1927. insanely ahead of its time.

cool. i really liked it.

lately im having this weird thing where alot of my day to day life and people i encounter are somewhat dream related. like people i just met recomending me films on dreams without me mentioning the growing number of coincidences im experiencing in the last 2 months... person i havnt spoken to for a while having a 'weird' dream with me ignoring them in just when i happen to throw away the last object (drawing) that linked me to them...then me coming on here and seeing someone( cant remember who it was ) listing a film called dreams by akira--something.

sort of getting to grips with reality and shit at the moment. i know alot of people have been having weird 'dreams' lately. trying to piece together my own possibly self generated mysteries whilst having to live my normal life at the same time. i sound like a film :/

im off to bed :)

I saw this screened at the Barbican with an orchestra playing the score live. Was a fairly unforgettable treat..
