It just gets better and better:

Microsoft executive Don Mattrick says the company has a console for gamers who can't get online, and it's called the Xbox 360.

Because when companies adopt bad policies that people ignore and still consume they become norms which affects the entire industry.
Just because some people like to be willfully ignorant consumers doesn't mean everyone does.

That and it's amusing to watch large corporations fail when they try to implement incredibly stupid business decisions.

Wait, no XBox One for South Africa, Japan and China? Are they mental or holding back for later release?

That can't be right...

So by posting all these links and calling it xbone (hehehe) on a tiny sub forum you are helping to stop these things becoming the norm in the game industry?

Haha, you know they will be going back on most of the shit they say due to consumer demand right? They're commiting professional suicide, their reputation has become awful and will get worse with release. Let them fuck up their own market, someone else will step into their place.

I think he's just using a web forum to communicate with people about things he's interested in, old bean. Pretty controversial, I know.

Likely later release, but it's pretty stupid especially considering it's going to hurt the developers from some of the countries excluded if the consoles aren't available in their country at the launch of their titles.
Hell Poland is excluded and The Witcher 3 was one of the big titles they showed during their E3 show and that's where the original novels are from along with where CD Projekt Red is based.
They've never had much of a market in Japan (with the exception of the 360 having tons of hentai games in Japan) and the Japanese are even less enthusiastic about their latest offering

You don't seem to grasp what forums are for do you?
No I'm hopefully stopping someone from wasting their money on this piece of junk, and speaking about the Xbone (this is what a large portion of the gaming media and sites are calling it, not just some witty name I came up with) in a thread about it with other people interested in video games as either a hobby, industry, or profession in a thread about them on an open forum.

No doubt, it's going to be equally hilarious watching them backpedal and play PR damage control, hell the fanboys already trying to defend this shit is hilarious.
