Best part is that it's free and the beer is cheaper than most places playing indie and commercial guff! You know it makes sense.

For a taster of the sort of thing I'll be spinning to warm the room up for XXXY, check this mix

I live on Brook Road so this is falling distance from my place but haven't been since it changed name, last time I was there - no dance floor?? I assuming it's all change now then?

There is an jungle night on as well at Saki :?:

True say, Manchester weather is in a world of its own. In the meantime tune in to ALL FM 96.9 (online @ www.allfm.org) for a warm up to tonight's goings on. Climate Control Radio 5pm-7pm every Saturday, cook your dinner to this!

Oi Oi my lovely Manchester people!

Since I first posted this thread back in October 2007 it's become a kind of mini Manc forum in it's own right; keep it up people. Quite a lot has changed in this town since so I thought it was time for a little update.

Firstly I have reluctantly joined the world that is facebook and although I hate to admit it, it is a bloody addictive and a very useful tool for getting the word out about events and to help promote local talent which is something Bass Camp has always tried to do. Join the Bass Camp facebook group to keep up with what we're up to and to take advantage of special offers, deals and interesting links:-

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=35748445768

Our last event had Goth Trad in room 1 with a full line-up of Manchester's finest in room 2 in the shape of Synkro, Indigo and XX XY from the Mindset Records camp, 3 of Manchester most gifted producers. This month we have 16 BIT making there Manchester debut and headlining the main room; another Bass Camp first! With support coming from 3 more of Manchester's absolute finest producers Chimpo from MRK1's Contagious Records camp; Biome from Subliminal's Subsonik Records camp and Omen with a string of releases on Pinch's Tectonic Records and his own Six6Six Records among others. Omen is one half of Random Trio alongside Cyrus and has remixed Loefah's Voodoo and had his track Rise remixed by Skream and N'Type. Manchester's finest Dubstep host and Subsonik Records head honcho Subliminal will be hosting and I'll be banging a few on too. See you there.

Also big up all the Manchester promoters old and new who are helping to put Dubstep where it belongs in this city, let's stay in touch and continue to help one another in a true spirit of unity.

Long live Dubchester.....

Big up all the Mcr dubstep crew! Have been living in Manchester for a couple of years now. Am liking the scene up here a lot.

Just want to say big up to Ken Evil for playing a couple of my tunes on All FM a little while back and also to the Zutekh boys for booking me last time out.

Check out my soundcloud or myspace to hear my tunes. There's a thread on one of them in the dubs section which you can find here:

Cheers!
