Its a bit of a waste of time with me If im too baked, I stayed up the whole night tweaking bass synths on a hip-hop track LEAN AS for an M.c to spit on the next day and when he popped round and heard it his wordz were...
"chuck that other beat on from before, this ones a bit Xperimental!!"

Gutted was I, but the track I had written sobre was being felt. He wasnt baked and couldnt relate, probs thinkin Im not sure if this hip-hop hybrid really has a point to it.

Far too much time is spent tweaking when Im baked, rather thatn putting flesh on the bones Im trying to put a tatoo on the bones.

Similar to walking before flying.

if you smoke weed instead of studying, its your fault. but if you wait till its done itll will make it that much better. just like everything else in life, if you're responsible with it you can do it with out a negative effect, maybe even a positive one.

as long as you dont do coke, heroin, crystal meth, or excessive amounts of hallucinogens(god complex anybody?) youll be ok

I don't do drugs as much as I used to but it is funny because sometimes I forget that the genres of music that I make sort of cater to people who are on drugs.... Then when I DO trip out and listen to my own stuff I'm like "Holy shit!!! Now I remember why I put all of that time and effort into making it so fucking crazy/ textured! because it sounds even more awesome when you are on LSD!!!" lol

i have in the past, its ok if you're at the arranging stage but useless if you're deciding what sounds/patterns to use

I got a fukked up back with sciatica, so I take madd pain pill's when I produce so I can sit for long periods of time. I love Opiates and production... even if I'm not in the mood, I can take a few OC's and in 30 min you can't keep me away from the studio.

and weed... all the time
