Just out of interest Parson (and this is a serious question), are you that removed from open-mindedness and the general consensus, that you can't see that your beliefs might draw a little well intentioned jokery, that your aggressive reactions might just get in the way of proper discussion once the jokes were done?
after reading the locked thread I absolutely agree. It's really hard for me to understand how someone can take this stuff so seriously. Being offended and going away from the forum is just childish...

respect!

it sucks that whenever that topic is brought up, it is met with condescending people laced in smugness. all i saw was parson reflecting the ignorance that was sent to him in kind. there is nothing wrong with standing up for oneself. its a real bummer that homie was chastised for sticking up for himself... but that just so happens to be the state of affairs.

respect to the truth seekers and the free thinkers! your time.

parson is a right good fellow. he is an active seeker of the truth. he makes sincere attempts to understand his own subjectivity and how it may contribute to that truth.

in this instance, i saw that parson was presenting his views for others to see, and responding to criticism as best he could with the knowledge that he possessed.

what human being does not respond to mockery of their views? i'm not excusing unkind words, but i will say that i don't view him as acting aggressively. not everyone has the finesse of a poet, but that doesn't mean they don't deserve an open forum among their peers. of course, stating your views will open you to criticism. but there should be a standard; nonsense ridicule and willfull mockery should be below that.

if you think you've got life figured out because you've read a few books concerning the illuminati or occult practices, i wish you the best. i hope i never pretend to know as much, because i never will. life is a constant process, and i applaud those of you continuing in the collective pursuit of understanding

Wow, that all got a bit full on.

It seems as though I wasn't believed when I was trying to make peace with Mr P, I was honestly. It'll be shame if he stops posting on here. Sorry if I've come across as a pompous dickhead.

This whole things just a bit well, silly really. Discussions about threads, people getting heated and taking things personally, moderating decisions being taken into question, it's infringing on our liberties, make them pay, string em up by their boots etc etc, it's all just a bit too earnest to sit comfortably with me.

As far as I am concerned and the way phpBB is set up they are both under the administrator group.

Might own the forum but he is still an admin.

Anyways moving on from your childish flame baiting, are lumpfish edible?
yeah, theres such thing as lumpfish caviar, so it probably is.
But caviar is fish eggs or fish poo, cant remember which..

But what if I wanted a fillet of lumpfish?

and i'm sure you could have a fillet, whether it would taste nice i have no idea
