I want to watch is so much but I know that I'll get hooked and I don't have enough money for the boxset.

Omar, you've got to lend me the boxset when you're finished!

Yeah man, beware. I got the boxset after hearing so much about it and on my days off I'd start watching this aboot 10 with a load of beers and no word of a lie I'd have to force myself to bed at 7 in the morning. Well addictive! I'm glad I never seen it on telly cos I'd be goin' mad waiting for the next episode each time.

it's funny cuz I saw 25th Hour before I ever watched The Wire and Isaia Whitcock Jrs character used that same "sheeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit" line.

I guess when he got cast as Clay Davis they were like 'just so you know you gonna be saying sheeeeeeeeeeeit a lot in this series'

For those of you that have run into me at shows -- the one thing I love talking about is "The Wire". Not only the best series ever, maybe the most important.

The characters -- they're real.

I still prefer The Sopranos.

I even watched The Wire first, and used to defend it against my Sopranos watching mates.

Thread Blasphemy.

anyone...

Favourite season: 4
favourite theme song: 1.....but 3 is really sick as well. it's a tie actually.

4&5 theme songs can fuck off. especially 4
