I gotta agree

I'd much rather take a thumb drive to the club, rather than 2 crates of records

for everyone with 2+ monitors in their setups, what graphics cards are you running them off of? I'm looking to upgrade soon.

most nvidia cards have dual view option, just look at the specs on em
ie: using an older evga geforce 6200 agp card and have my regular monitor in 1080p posting on here, and second cable run to my tv playing a movie since no second monitor atm

yeah most graphic cards have two DVI ports now days so yeah its pretty much just plug and play, and if there not DVI (more likely VGA) you can just buy a converter for like £3

It all depends on how many monitor outputs your graphics card has.

Ask FSTZ i know he runs a 3 monitor setup, he might be able to help you.

they make 3 head graphics cards, but they can get pricey...

I use a software application called "Maxi-Vista"

what it does is allows me to control 2 comps with one keyboard and mouse and it goes over your internet cable (kinda like a remote "PC anywhere" thing)

there is also an option to "extend desktop" over the 2nd computer so you can basically run 3 screens off of one computer as if your ethernet cable and router become an ad-hoc video card

check it out here

I know :( but I'm lazy have gotten used to the sound of this room with the monitors in that position. I'd move the desk but the size/shape of the room won't allow it - gotta love student housing :D:

Fair crack dude, as long as you can reference it on stuff and you know kinda how it colours your sound it should be all good really.

For the three monitors query, you don't need to sell your soul for a graphics card that supports it. Mine does and it only cost £120.
