Its not about how hard or easy it is to see Mala in the UK its about this being his night that he's set up and the vibe they have set to go with it. They play strictly vinyl to crowd of heads who are there 100% for the music. This isnt just an hour set from the man its all night with the chance to hear so many plates, a lot of which he won't bless the crowd with at most of the nights he plays like the James Blake remix of Changes for example...

Could see it being Pinch. He was on at the Swamp81 takeover in Leeds on Tuesday and was dropping some real dubstep classics including dmz & deep medi plates for about 30 mins at the end of his set. Absolutely class to see so many people there expecting that Swamp81 sound but still all losing their shit to Haunted, Goat Stare, Skeng, Swish and Hyph Mngo

Apparently when Mala couldn't make it to another event in London recently Loefah filled in for him with a jungle set; same could happen at System, since there have actually been rumours about the guest doing a jungle set as well

Word on the street is that they are going to project a hologram of Mala. Can't wait to see the look on Hatman's face when he goes to touch hologram Mala's arm as he's mixing and his hand just goes straight through him.

I think someone may still fill in for Mala and spend most of the night b2b with VIVEK. By the looks of it Amit has just got a set going down. I think a lot of people will be surprised with the special guest to say the least but anyone who has doubts for me can fuck off and sell their tickets or not bother buying one.

Has Mala even confirmed he's not going to be there. I know all the signs say he isnt but has he said it personally?
