Its good to build that need to make music. Hopefully it turns to passion which will show in your output.

Where abouts? Usa still?

Yeah, I have done a few little pressure releases, hope not too much. I at least want to capture one explosive discharge of pent up musical frustration.

Trying to setup the studio for live performance, like, everything is otb sequencable, process/effectable.

And yeah, live in nowhere USA.

Damn, Com Truise just outbid me on a Poly 61m. M! If I hadn't just bought that AX60, that poly 61 would be mine. From what I can tell, I think I'd rather have the poly 61. Such a lo fi poly dco synth, with that f'ed up korg sound.

Some serious synth hunters on that auction. Went from $345 to 465 in the last minute. I thought I might steal it. I'd get both synths, and then have a shoot out. Who is the dirtiest bird?

I used to see those things around all of the time. It's crazy how things come back into fashion. I remember a TR-707 sitting in a pawn shop downtown for ages for $99. I should have jumped on that.

They really were like a garbo synth. I just love the sound/functionality. $465 is well below market, even then.

How about that time when I saw an ARP Odyssey for $500 at a music store in Tacoma. I didn't have that kind of money at the time, but damn!

You'll get one for a good price I'm sure. I've been giving mine more love and I've just been using it wrong. It wants to be tweaked in real time and it likes its own sequencer.

Naw, I got one arriving today. But adding all this used stuff... you know, the liability of it all, all the old damaged quirks. I'd rather have the little fucker new. (And the new one was cheaper than the used one I got...).

AX60 - HOOOOLY SHIT. VCO Madness. Fucking filter with rez with vco->vcf filter mod BOOOOM Mind blown. So much wet grit. Ughmmm.

I'm having some serious lust for a full scale poly synth now, despite having the iPad. Thanks guys :i:

This is not the poly to end all polys. But dude... hahaha I'm literally loling over here. Ain't nothing in vst land that can do this. This shit is so fucked up. After pitch bending, this fucker gets confused, and the pitch wanders around for a little while.

We need to quadruple actual processing power, not just adding more cores, and then start to model this shit. I'm sure it can be modeled, but it is going to take some fucking work, these electrons be CRAXY over here.

If anybody sees a s-900 or s-950 going somewhere, lemme know. I've got to add a sampler to this thing. It is going to be bizonkers.

I honestly think my next poly (after the volca which is driving over here right now, as we speak) is going to be the p08. That'll be polite, but raw, but still precise poly. And the ax60 will be the full blown lsd trippin balls rock and roll bad boy to counterpoint. This fucking thing, it is like licking a chain saw. IT'S MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay so the volca keys finally got here... Oh wait no it didn't, it's the volca bass. That c sucking seller... Oh nope, I bought the bass... In retrospect, had a couple of auctions open... And swear I bid on the keys...

There really should be a film crew following me around. No sleep + a gnarly case of strep throat, and mad googly eyed gear lust... Disasters galore.

The bass was the unit I was least interested in. My little master plan included a two year purchasing plan that would start with the keys, then the drums, then the bass... THEN THE BASS! Not first the bass. And then I missed that new volca keys this morning. Insult to injury...

If you see me on the street begging for change, please be a kind soul and don't judge, just throw me some bones.

So, is the volca bass anything more than a tb303 clone?

And anybody wanna buy one? :)

So I did plug the bass in, and it sounds great. Absolutely amazing sounding, and then in respect to the price... Just crazy. Hardly plumed it, there is a lot of functionality crammed in there. But it just sounds like a tb303 to me.

I might just pick up a keys. The keys actually started all this madness because of its accessibility. Gone a long way around to then not end up with it...

Madness.

Yea. For me the keys is where its at w the Volcas...I mean for 150ish you can get an ES1 or ER1 so the beats is kinda meh imo...and the bass ...agreed...just wants to be 303... for that money....MeeBlip Anode...especially now w the wavetable update...way more versatile bass synth...no seauencer tho
