Hangover seems to be getting worse as the day goes on... fuck.

everything i have is beyond second hand, old, out of date, fucked up shit equipment i've managed to scavenge off and it all keeps breaking and fucking up, while members of my family wont lend me the BRAND NEW GEAR that NEVER GETS FUCKING USED EVER

my dad has a 18" Mac powerbook sat in his room, the only thing its been used for in the past 2 years... as the server for the internet in our house

the dell pc i had broke at uni, so i got his old G5 from 2003 which is a Power PC model and thus you cant update it with any of the modern drivers needed for most everyday uses i.e. flash, so despite the fact its still a great computer i just cant use it properly for the things i actually need to use it for!

i never have new stuff, ever, everything i have is beyond 2nd hand... my sister ALWAYS get new stuff, and NEVER uses it, she just bitches and moans until my parents finally give in and get her what she wants, she's twenty six years old and it still happens.. i get a pair of shoes for my birthday and 50 quid, which i spent on a present for her, she gets a Mac Book Pro.

i had just about saved enough money to buy a new mixer, and buy an actual new, shop bought one, with a warranty, then i remember i owe my mum a 100 quid for the latest deck i've had to buy after my last one kaputted, snide thing is that new deck was meant to be my birthday present, but i ended up just paying for it out of my own dough

Used stuff is great, it come with a previous life attached, especially used tech, I have a really old CRT Tele and I often find myself wondering.. what stories it would tell of it's previous viewers, how did 2inch deep wolverine scratch actually get on the top right of the screen, I love buying used stuff, then scrubbing them up and making them mine and living around the things they are missing, new things are often soulless and look like everybody else's.

I've managed to spend fuck all on christmas this year and I STILL have no fucking money.

It hasn't pissed me off yet, just thinking of doing xmas shopping this week makes me want to punch people.
