I thought it was great, really entertaining film. At times the plot seemed a bit disjointed but overall I was entertained all the way through.

First time viewing. Hear a lot of good things about this one, thought it was pretty wank to be honest.

watched glory last night with mathew broderick, morgan freeman & denzel washington
acting was good, directing was good, script was superb but the ending was a bit overhyped. and plus i dont really think mathew broderick was suited for the main role, especially in this kind of film.
8/10

In the words of Gag Halfrunt, this man has emotional problems beyond the dreams of psychoanalysts. Very entertaining film, but a little bit worrying... I mean, he looks like quite a normal chap... reminds me an awful lot of myself at times!
because of this thread, I watched the movie.
I laughed harder than I'd laughed in a month at how pathetic his love life is. But then I realized there are sooooooo many people like this man walking around, that one knows or doesnt know, it's ridiculous.
yes he does indeed have serious mental issues.

its not a slasher or gore flick like the title would suggest. more of a gloomy character study. pretty captivating and a great dramatic classical soundtrack. thumbs up.

Finally got round to seeing The Damned United
Liked this way more than I'd imagined I would,it doesn't have the dark mystery that's at the heart of the original book but is still pretty entertaining nonetheless.Michael Sheen's got Clough pretty much down pat and Timothy Spall and Jim Broadbent are excellent as always.
