it wasn't really a foul no, but its understandable why the ref gave the instant red, its just stupidity to go into a tackle two-footed and with studs in the air, especially in a manchester derby, no excuse really, see those decisions go either way all the time and cant really be much complaint when you consider what the referee must have seen at full speed...

united did have a certain penalty turned down though so swings and roundabouts (kind of)

i even said it wasn't a foul, but it IS an understandable decision considering the tackle

he hooked his foot round the ball, as can be told by the way the ball didnt go careering off, winning it fairly, not a lunge

ah well whatever, i couldnt even get annoyed- its bad when i hate city almost as much as united
