on another note: did anyone else have a fantastically shitty day yesterday? the shooting news was only part of it, everything seemed to be going wrong with everyone i normally talk to. on top of that i had a gas leak in my house (right before i went to bed last night) and could have died had i not gone downstairs to get some water and smelled my kitchen, so i was up late fixing it. fuckin hell. sorry if i was unnaturally grumpy to anyone.

so strange... i know it's human nature to look for patterns but yesterday was decidedly eery.

and yeah i have not been that scared in quite some time... immediately dropped to a crawl and hustled over to the patio door, flung it open, ran to the front door, flung it open, whipped off my shirt and started waving it frantically. i must have looked absolutely mental to an outside observer (and there was one, my very confused kitty). -w-

if i had not been thirsty and had just gone to bed i dread to think of what would have happened :o

It's scary how things like that can happen, no matter how well prepared you are, something can always go wrong.

 a very ironic situation. It's the same fucking people who support ever more 'defence' spending. Facepalm.

excellent point! but keep in mind when it started, america had no army or navy... or banks... or major allies... or national govt.... just food and people and a bit of supplies.

Production Board at this point
