in no way mate it's just that I associate them with powell and he has post punk influences in his tracks and plays ebm / post punk tracks in his mixes

ebm is so shit nowadays - obvs with a few exceptions like youth code and a few techno guys going for the whole techno/ebm/postpunk crossover thing
but shit ebm now is mostly trance w/ goth image or shit like motor and og bands went industrial rock/metal ages ago

Powell - No U Turn is such a tune.
I've heard quite a lot of the same influences in LIES sets/tracks btw. Although the electro
thing is more on the surface. Ron Morelli reaches for jackin stuff a lot too though.
Maybe give Domenico Crisci a go. His stuff is quite accessible without loosing that edge
the label is known for. I'll put one of his in the techno thread while I'm at it.
