sounds better plus you can mix it with other 128/130 bpm stuff and it blends quite nicely.

Absolutely infatuated with the box set . The two etched vinyls are probably the nicest two discs I've seen in my short life . Also the sleeves have a waxed interior which I've never seen before , it's fancy mane ! Rap on loop 4ever.

Hazyville > Ghettoville = Splazsh > RIP imho
weirdly enough RIP was the album to actually get me into Actress. can't decide whether or not i like Splazsh or Ghettoville more, 2 really different albums that are good in their own respects.

finally Ghettoville appeared in the record store
reminds me of what Eno did with his soundbite albums
to seed sonic ideas
very interesting...
but leaving the sixth side unused seems a bit precious,
could've used it to record an impoverished producer imo.

was Ghettoville made for 33 or 45 speed...?
cause either speed works well really

ACTRESS, SCUBA, AND SHXCXCHCXSHX should tour.
they could call it, THE NO TECH-NO FOR AN ANSWER TOUR.
special guests... the rolling kidney stones
XLR8R Mix is still Fire!!!
looking forward 2 vinyl for ghettoville, the packaging is just absolutely
gotta love the artsy touch, grim bass waits for no one,
I think ninja tune was a good move for him,
I'd like to see honest johns turn up the african-dub-techno vibes
the wire interview was a good look too, very "hedged" though.
I';; save the verdict on "ghettoville" for after a few bong tokes and a bottle of wine
everyone knows actress kills though, and R.I.P. will be looked back in 20 years as being the most significant influence in (actual) live hardware production... It makes a difference.
analog sound waves and tactile rhythmic patterns...
it just has a tone that all the other producers lack, that mystic vulnerable psychic production that falls into place magically, you can hear the experimentation, the brilliance in his work flow.
it's a subtle signature, but one that leaves a long lasting impression.
"bubble butt... bubble bubble bubble bubble butts and equations"

And it's also what he leaves out of his tunes. Lords Graffitti...not much low end, snare isn't over compressed, but those sounds...can't quite distinguish if it's a vocal sample or just a pixelated splash...it's like his most str8forward house track yet it still is weirdly Actress. So good
Xoul EP already out of stock on bleep
