The best part is how there were no posts for 6 months on this topic and now people act like they've been caring this entire time. lol
Quit trying to act like you give a shit just beause something is in the news today. Thousands of brown people have died in the middle east in the 6 months since then and there's been little to no talk about it because it didn't have a nifty youtube link.

I doubt this thread would have gotten to this many pages if no one cared. Where's the youtube link in the post that brought this thread back?
They've only just broadcast the result of the inquiry, so this has been posted today.

just because in the US people have to rely on youtube because watching fox news doesn't actually give you any useful information doesn't mean that this is the case everywhere else on this world.
i - oh what a wonder - did care about it. but doesn't mean i have to post about it on a daily basis on a music forum...

As I said this is a fucked situation, I just find it comical that people are acting all up in arms about the situation again when a week ago none of you gave a thought to it.
It's one of those "I have a very educated and informed opinion (if it's about the topic of the moment and someone brings it up in a conversation)"

As for the report... It was made for Israel for Israelis, what did yall expect it to say?
Lets just hope that Israel no longer exists in the near future!
I have no problems with Jewish people.... but but where racism & segregation is the norm, aint nada good guna come from it!

As has been said, just because it's not mentioned constantly on a forum doesn't mean people don't care or think about it.
Everytime a thread is brought back, do you accuse the person who brought it back of not caring about whatever was in the thread the day before?

Turkey has dismissed as “worthless” an Israeli report clearing the government and military of wrongdoing in the bloody assault on a Turkish aid ship.
The operation last May in which nine Turks were killed prompted an international outcry.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: “The report clearly shows that the blockade of Gaza is legal. It shows that the enforcement of that blockade last May was legal. And it shows that the Israeli soldiers who boarded the Maramra acted legally and in self defence.”
But Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan responded: “The report was ordered. Did you think a report that was written in their country would have worth?”
The findings of the Turkel commission will form the core of Israel’s submission to a United Nations investigation into the assault.
I'm glad some people aren't just going to lie down and let them get away with it. Letting Israel carry out its own investigation was such a pointless move. The same goes for Turkey carrying out their own investigation.
Unfortunately, there are no unbiased people available. Everyone would have something to gain or lose by supporting either side.
Sad state of affairs.
