swamp008 will be out on the 1st of feb 2011
if possible, we will be releasing every 3 weeks after that.
I am a bit slow
keep calm
carry on

That was posted in another thread so it might just be that they are releasing quite a few 12" close to each other.

Agreed , and listeners seem to think they have a right to have the tunes within 1 week of hearing it on line and get bitchy if lables dont drop it within a month
i can understand that, but isn't the point of a label to RELEASE music, as opposed to smirking at us collectively for 2/3 of a year and then calling us impatient?
Take into account that a lot of the very fresh tunes you hear aren't finished , they have to be finished and signed and then the have to fit into an existing release schedule , then you have to allow for artwork , promotion , mastering , checking test presses , pressing , waiting for a release slot with the distributor, and all this takes money which at some point people have and some points people don't.
2/3 of a year(8months?) is a very fast turn around for a release ... faster than 90% of the major labels(emi etc) I challenge anyone who doesn't run a label to get a tune from the day its made to the shops on vinyl in under 5months
p.s I seriously doubt that the people who signed the tunes are sitting behind pcs 'smirking' at impatient dsf users.

lets hope that challenge inspires a generation of cheeky white labels cropping up in vinyl shops!

Amen brother! Well said
Can't believe this tune will be in shops within a months time! That's one good thing about living in America, very rarely do tunes get "rinsed out" before they get released.

which is fantastic if you think about it. it sure makes the rest of us, who go in many different sonic directions, stand out from the crowd of similar sounds
