i prefer them to dogs because they don't NEED you. at least not outwardly. they aren't all in your fucking face as soon as you get home. they don't wag their tails and bark at the door when they need you to take them outside. i suppose those are some of the same reasons why people love dogs and consider them far superior to cats, but i prefer the mystery of cats' personalities. not as one-dimensional as dogs' in my experience.
I fucking love cats for exactly those reasons. Dogs are in your face and overly excited all the time. Cats do what the fuck they want.
My white cat malts so much from like mar/april to round about october though, it's so annoying. Everyday i leave the house looking like a giant version of her... Still love them though
but I don't care.
