Great graphics, great physics, great effects.
Decent writing, decent enviroments, decent sound
Clunky combat, insanely short main storyline, and my big gripe...........
the majority of the games content is OPTIONAL.... and the majority of said side quests are redundant remasks... ie go get this or kill this in
If you were a big fan of the previous games then this game is right up your alley.
If, like me, you weren't a huge fan and were hoping this game would turn out to be a game changer for you, it sadly is not.
back to modern warfare 3
modern warfare 3 is the same shit as the other 20 or so games

I'm all over this right now, just about to install it.
Was looking for some Skyrim mods the other day and happened upon The Witcher 2. Looks like a really good game. 16 different endings, non-linear quests, serious combat system. Pretty much everything TES needs to take it to the next level.
Skyrim's alright but it's just a re-skinned Morrowind/Oblivion with some flying critters added. Maybe its my fault for expecting more. Fallout 3 didn't blow my mind either. It just feels like a 1998 game with 2011 graphics.

MW2 wasn't simplified. In fact, they added so much shit that it broke the game.
I'm fairly interested in playing MW3's multiplayer, it looks like the best since CoD4.

Multi online games just take the fun out of gaming IMO (well the modern ones anyway) and it's starving the industry of originality because all the money is thrown at them.

Take the multiplayer out of COD and you're left with a barely-interactive film though. Like those old point-and-click games with videos in them. COD singleplayer is the FPS equivalent of them. Check the Youtube video of some matey completing the first Black Ops level without firing a single bullet...he's just walking around activating the scripted sequences.
IMO multiplayer is the way forward, just not when its used as an excuse for shabby singleplayer. COD's multiplayer has always been the best bit about it, see COD2.

I used to love playing warcraft 2 online but that was years ago. I dont know what would possess anyone to play at being soldiers online, id much rather tend a farm on farmville than run around thinking im a member of the SAS when in reality theyre all 14 year old losers.

It's tied into the thieves guild. I won't say much as to avoid spoilers but it is a cool quest line.
