some of you guys on this thread are chatting proper bollocks about sub genres and seam to forget that dubstep started as a sub genre and now is 1 of the biggest, most diverse but yet most commercial dance music on offer. true underground dubstep will always be around just like jungle will always be around but the fact that we now have justin bieber and britney spears singing to dubstep means the true heads will try take the music in a different direction as not to sound like the cheesy shit. i fucking love dubstep, ive always loved jungle/dnb, in productions ive always made more breaky style beats and called it hybrid dubstep as it borrowed style from different genres so when i stumbled into future jungle a couple year back i knew that this was more the direction i wanted to go and not to get tarred with that cheesy bollocks dubstep brush. hybrid dubstep and future jungle have a more grown up sound and feel to them and all you lot dissing it are just closed minded. MUSIC IS MUSIC, IDIOTS ARE IDIOTS, BASS MUSIC IS BETTER!!!! get over yourselfs and give it a try, you might just like it!!! and if you dont you will prob change your mind when everyone else jumps onit and you decide to follow the pack like most of you did with dubstep.

mate this 'future bungle' is fuckign shite.

its like the breaks equivalent of brostep. its a diluted yet paradoxically very concentrated dirty little beaker of shite sampel pack arranged derivative sounds that think it has something in common with jungle when in fact its the (bad) progression of tear out breaks.

breaks had its moments back a few years back with the drum / breakbeat heavy 140 sound then someone infected it with fuckign circus reece bass and squashed reversed amen breakdowns b2b white nopise riser into weeee wwwwaaahhh weeee wwaahhh sounds.
its really not even worth discussing. it has no relevance, no scene, nothing outside of a few bros with abelton and a permanently gurning jaw.

stuff like this was wicked rough and mega ravey. not some internet sampel pack reguritated dross like everything called 'future bungle'
ffs its not even long enough to start revistin and destriying this stuff

Whaaa ROFL, (wait i'm gonna use your style without real sentences and so on, so you can understand it too), when reading your post, i always check the last page of a topic and if it's interesting i continue reading it from back to the front, so when reading your post i was like man is frustrated about posting some of his tunes before and got bad comments or even no comments, and guess what, i'm right again like always, man don't be so frustrated about nothing and continue producing euhm hybrid dubstep (very original by the way, and i'm proud for you that you were able to create such a new sub genre, really amazing bro), so you don't act like an idiot as you do here when you do have some points right for sure, big up man, heads up.

Speaking to the creator of hybrid dubstep is just wow, really never thought i would meet someone that inventive even not overhere.

not "future jungle", but Jungle Cat seems promising. Only one release as of yet and it's vinyl only.

sorry but if you're calling your music future-something you must be living in the past...

That King Yoof track sounds more dubed out than most dubstep...dunno how anyone can call it brostep

Whats even more funny is that ive heard loads of dubstep djs play Yoof & Golds tunes, fuck me at Boomtown festival this year all you could hear was Subslayers tunes so its got to be making some waves

hats off, the breaks "scene" never really took off in Belgium, despite the efforts from its trueest followers/believers/lovers, but that track had me hooked for a while :h:

It's identical to the whole "progressive" thing. Progressive house, progressive breaks, progressive rock/metal, whatever. I guess they just didn't want to call it "progressive garage" or whatever.

For me Future Jungle is a great new sound that embraces old and new music. I grew up in the 90s listening to Jungle, Happy Hardcore and DnB amongst others. There will always be purists or new kids who dislike the sound and will either stick with their old ways or only jump on the bandwagon if it goes commercial like dubstep (lets hope it dont get that bad) I have got into this sound recently merely by stumbling upon it online. I enjoy producing it and have had some sales on Bandcamp so far which is nice http://danessence.bandcamp.com/ I think I have found my sound and one I can stick to. Way I see it is its Jungle from the 90s and the future element is actually now, see what I mean? if you was living in the 90s and the future sound was ahead then it would be Future Jungle.... stay with me here..... seeing as Jungle is a 90s sound the other sounds used in with it now can be regarded as "future" if you see it from a different aspect it might just work.

Anyway I hope Future Jungle stays around because I for one love it. I dont think its really going to vanish as its really being embraced by a lot of people and DJs.
