Im sure its a little more complex than just "modern talking" on massive

Not really. i'd say this was mtalk with bitcrush or sample+hold effect on basic formant oscs and a filter.

Really most of your spare time should be in examining evry osc in combi with any other, listening to evry preset you can get your hands on, and just knowing your synth.

Hey guys,

Just wanting to know how to make this sound here, http://hulkshare.com/0rx378rocfje/How%2 ... 0sound.mp3
(you can preview it on hulkshare)

It comes in just after 26seconds in, it's 5 hits on a synth note, sounds like 'Dunn dunn dunn dunn daaan' (hard to to describe)

It's got sub-bass underneath it, I tried to replicate the sound but no avail. Is it pitch modulation? I don't know how to do pitch modulation that well, am I just linking a macro to one of the pitch boxes in massive on my oscillator, if so which one and how?

Any info on how to create it is much appreciated, thanks in advance :)

You can get that exact noise in Razor (reaktor) by modulating the phase on a filter.

+1
I just made a fairly similar sound using modern talking and S&H but I trashed because I don't particularly like the vowel bass sound.

The main high pitched lead in this one. Kicks in at 0.14-15. Pretty much typical circus record sound but i havent figured out how to nail it yet.
Anybody who can help? :dunce:

Pitch bends + modern talkingesque oscillator
I personally suck at making synths but it doesn't sound to complicated

Hello there everyone, for the past few weeks I have been trying to perfect a unique bass sound similar to a few I have heard not like the typical 'talking bass'- yayaya, but more distorted, saying it had vowels in it it would be spelt like " Boooy"
"Boosh" sort of thing I'm struggling to get that 'B dynamic to my sound I'm trying to make, here is a songs I can post to give more of an idea

http://soundcloud.com/dubsidia/dubsidia ... t-original

Similar to these but looking mainly at the mid and low end of the spectrum for a more Boooya" subby mid sound any idea'a are greatly apprecaited cheers.

i made a sound very similar with the deep throat osc pitched down an octave, automated filter + bitcrusher

Those sounds at 1:09...I've heard them in Rusko's remix of Pro Nails too.
