ive sort of started to let it go in more recent times thought, and im finding myself trying to educate over just throwing a shitfit, but alas, 9/10 times i get the "this isnt dubstep" or "this isnt filthy/dirty/grimey/skrillexy enough"... and its at that point i usually get increadibly annoyed.
I understand that. I'll be the first to admit that I like a lot of the bro stuff but I also like the deep, and I certainly don't go around saying that the tearout stuff that I listen to is what real dubstep is. One man's fart noise is another man's music I suppose.
there is a bit of a line between tearout & bro... ie coki, kromestar, goth-trad... they all make good tearout, and it would be pretty hard to catorgorize is as brostep
Yeah. Id call stuff like old chasing shadows and noisia to be good tearout as well. It not just a string of 100 different sytnths like most of the bro stuff today is like.
but your right, different strokes for different folks

We are protective because we care about the music it's not rocket science I didnt have a problem with brostep before it went mainstream until it flooded the scene with brohobos claiming dubstep their own all becuz of skrillshit taking it mainstream which is fine I have no problem with him making a name for himself except for the fact that it's turned the whole scene into broshitsound just look at the production section most of it is brocrap all the dubstep websites are pushing the broscene
It's being ripped away from us by the mainstream crowd alot of producers we respect are pushing that sound now and you expect us not to get mad at what that screetching shit music has done to the quality of music?.. Am all for DJ's trying get paid as long as they continue to produce some good REAL dubstep tunes along the way.. I used to be able to find a shit load of good tunes back in the day before skrillfag hit the scene now it's all broshit FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU now it's like finding gold when I find a good wubbly tune
Skrillex try's to say his not pushing dubstep but then why is he only known for Dubstep? the only reason he talks trash about the original sound an this forum is because the community never accepted him his always taken MAJOR backlash from the community LOL! which is great I hope he dies Troll.jpg

Its funny how he says that he isnt in some places & does in others...
theres like 3 articles/viideos in the brostep thread where he admits to believing his sound is dubstep....
