heard this first on the knowledge magazine cd mixed by the mixologists.
without listening to the lyrics of the complete track, the use of the sample ("as... time goes by.. ") is really touching.
don't know where they got it and to be honest, I don't want to know.
don't know a lot of phi life cypher tracks, but the ones I got to hear by now are simply breathtaking imo,
them setting their own high standards that little much people seem to care to live up to.
another one by them that I appreciate heavily would be "Ill Force",
the main melody sample comes from a Chilean "cebolla" song (aka onion, meaning as much as music to cry to), and phi life cypher gave their very own twist to it.
if only these records would be easier to find in Belgium (Rodney P, zebra traffic, Ronin records, ... on the other hand seems pretty easy to get your hands on at prices worth paying even if you're just guessing for your taste)
