French film...cool/weird dark...begins like its gonna be a typical mushy romance but then unfolds quite nicely. same girl from Amélie...i think

weird animated film about spirits eating stuff and a little girl trapped in their world. twas ok. childlike pg standard really.

But actually, the last Film I saw was Blade Runner, last night.
that movie is 16 shades of awesome! I love how different eras intrepret the future. I also enjoy the fact that nothing that exists now was in that movie and our technology is generally much better than what Phillip K. Dick and Ridley Scott Imagined.
the last DVD I saw was Richard Branaugh's 1996 adaptation of Hamlet. neat movie. Horiatio won!

last movie i watched (on my computer) was The Graduate. I'm not really sure what to think about it, but it was interesting. plus everything dustin hoffman is in is pretty good. always liked me a bit of simon and garfunkel too.

the lady and i took the kids to see Nightmare Before Chrsitmas 3D!!! they didnt take off their glasses the whole movie, and loved every second of it.. impressive for a 5 and 2 year old if you ask any parent.
great movie.

Jan svankmajer's 'Lunacy' or 'Sileni'
czech film...dark and surreal as fuck.
basically about 2 approaches to running a mental asylum;
1 absolute freedom --leave if you want...do what you want etc
2 The tried and tested method of Rules and punishment etc
i especially like the beggining where he goes, there is also a third method, that incorporates the worst parts from both, the world we live in.
definately reccomend. has alot of stop-motion animated meat aswell.

dr strangelove, and southern comfort
strangelove managed to make a disturbing topic hilarious...whilst also slightly disturbing still, but a great film nonetheless
southern comfort was quite bizarre, and i couldn't quite follow it as i was so tired i could hardly keep my eyes open, but once i've watched it properly i'm sure its probably good

nice! took the little man, who just turned 2, to see the Bee Movie and he also sat still the whole time, loving it. I was amazed!
