That last conversation... So much hatred and bitterness ! If cranston wasn't in your favorite actors list yet I guess he just went up there. Walt's probably gonna try to save Jesse from Jack & the boys as an ulitmate act of redemption and he's gonna go out in a bang.

They made cranston cry. This alone was appreciated. Its so aggravating when million dollar series and movies have all of these fancy props, effects, etc. but they still use that face-wincing fake crying crap.

Its almost as bad as GTA4 having real Russian being spoken for the civilians, but the main character speaks Google Translated Russian.

but the way hank was interrupted mid-speech by a bullet was really good, you dont see that kinda thing very often in tv/films, really realistic

also I dont reckon that pure hatred for Skylar was genuine... pretty sure he was making himself out (though he kind of is now) to be a monster so skylar doesnt feel guilty for being involved, which is why he was crying (and hiding it).

I reckon: walt is going to kill the uncle mandems with the m60, save Jesse (all he has left now), maybe after seeing his tortured state, and walt jr & skylar will leave town (explains boarded up house) then walt will either kill himself or let jesse kill him after realizing it is all his fault (using the ricin)

when he asked "are you alone, are the police there?", he knew they were there and he wanted them to hear it. he acted that way on the phone to make him look like an abusive monster to the police, so that skylar was distanced from walt's crimes and could go on and take care of the kids.

i think the ricin may end up being for lydia, only because of the significance they place on the tea... she's often drinking tea and the shots always focus on it, and in a couple scenes there was a fair amount of dialog about it (the diner where the waitress gets it wrong, or when todd offers to add another bag)

hank being iced so quickly was quite surprising.

excellent EP overall but I thought walts reaction when they found jessie was a bit strange, always believed he had a tiny bit of moral obligation left towards jessie - even though him admitting the killing of jessies ex gf (whatshername?) was inevitable towards the end of the show. especially he knows that they gonna torture him to death.... that nephew kid todd seems like a fucking robo, is he even conciously thinking???

also: did skylar already confess that walts heisenberg or why didnt the police seem to be surprised when walts was talking about his ways of earning money and the death of hank?

Walt has never spoken to skylar like that before, he did it to clear her name.

As far as Walt knows Jesse is dead as promised, so I doubt his goal is to save him. His speech over the phone was to get Skylar off the hook as an accomplice.
Todd is well... a sociopath, but he respects Walt, and if you didn't catch it "the other way this could have gone" as implied by his uncle was leaving Walt in that shallow grave with Hank and Gomie. The M60 is likely for the sizan, but I'm guessing it's due to Jesse revealing the tape is at Hank & Marie's which is likely where the family is going to be staying, so conflict with the family and sizan may be next ep which will be the catalyst for the finale.
When Hank got killed in front of him he stopped being Walt or Heisenberg, he just became an empty shell of a man. That point got drove home even further at home with Skylar and Jr with that brilliant knife scene.
Great episode, but I still think Crawl Space is the best.

fuckin hank is a g.. never showed an ounce of weakness even when he knew he was done.. telling walt he is one of the smartest guys he knows, but telling him he is at the same time an idiot for not knowing that the skinhead made up his mind 10 minutes ago. whew.

I think he did until Jesse created that situation, I know walt ultimately created it himself, but Jesse hatched that plan and made it happen. Guess it was the final straw.

The police didn't seem suprised because they don't know anything about it anyway I guess, they were normal cops there for the abduction of a child, not for heisenberg.

That's a good observation, what'd his motive be for killing Lydia be though? Not saying it aint happening, just can't think why. Walt's gotta die, can't see it ending any other way
