Bet nobody ever reads this threat but whatevs.
Still reasonably new to this whole thing, been into dubstep for just under a year now. Been lurking around these boards for a good few months, but thought I'd just sit quietly and learn for a bit instead of jumping straight in and looking like a dick (which I'm sure I'll still manage to do anyway. ho hum).
If I had to pick 1 favourite, gun to my head, it'd probably be Distance, but ask me again tomorrow and I may well have a different answer.
So yeah, hi! Be gentle!

downloading new torrents isnt going to make you any better. just a heads up there.
anyways.
Im also new here. Havent really caught onto the etiquette of forum posting, and i apologize for that.
im not going to call myself a stupid noob though. i use fl studio... it came with the computer. i just started messing around. i had never listened to much electronic music before i started trying to make it. i guess i couldnt really appreciate it until i gave it a go. i started listening to techno but then i realized it was to dull and boring... i like the flavor that dubstep ahs to offer. i listen to house sometimes, if im high enough ill even listen to trance.
i know i have a lot to learn when it comes to producing and thats most of the reason i joined here. to try and pluck some brains for vital producer information.
im just a kid looking for his sound... lol
i sound like simple plan now. fml

Hello guys, I'm new here.
Didn't got welcomed pretty well though.
Seems like there's a lot of trolls/wanabee trolls here, which is fucking sad, cause this forum seems great!
Cheers

Hey... Been an active member for some time and have lurked for much longer (first visit to dsf was 2007ish). Never really introduced myself officially and thought now as good a time as any.
I live in Bristol now but hail from Leicester.
Never really got into dubstep as such was a huge lover of jungle, dub (how could I not be with such a huge scene in my hometown) and was massively into uk garage. Dubstep, for me progressed from there. I allways knew it as dark garage and carried on referring to dubstep tracks as dark garage for quite some time. So, my love for the music evolved alongside the music itself. My first real taste was breezeblock and that opened up the scene to me in its full capacity.
I am a bedroom dj and have tinkered with production once or twice.
Played out several times pushing the deeper sub based driven sounds comming from dubstep.
Recently started a weekly radio show (mondays at 5pm) on a free internet server
http://snypadub.listen2myradio.com been getting some great feedback from it so keep your ears peeled for bigger and better projects.
I love bass music and allways will. For as long as I have appreciated music I have appreciated bass.
Good to finally introduce myself although, i'm guessing, a few of you already know who I am.
Big ups to dubway each and every. This site has literally shaped the evolution of the genre and I have enough respect for that.

ehhh no ones gonna read this but might as well give myself a formal intro.
Alright so my artist name is lectric. ive loved making music all my life but onyl really started trying once i saved up the money to purchase fl studio and some vsts. (NO IM NOT A DOUCHE WITH A CRACK VERSION OF EVERYTHING)
your all gonna hate me when i say this but yes im 16

. ive noticed that young people dont get much respect on here. thing is most of em dont deserve it. im not here searching "how to make a skrillex bassline" so i can show it to my mates at school and try to be famous. im here because i have always had a passion for making music, not a desire to sound like some famous artist cuz im not unique.
other than that ive recently started producing full songs and have played shows at various clubs in my area of the GTA (i live in canada)
so thats what there is to know about me.

Hey, I'm music producer and love allsorts of electronic music, especially music with soul and phat bass n beats. I used to go to FWD in early days and various nights 333 and plastic poeple when I was living in london.
sporadically check stuff on here and post, always seems a good mix of banter and people posting quality tunes.
I also co-write a music production blog with one my studio partners - lostinmusik.net - we cover the more creative elements of being an artist and developing your sound, than how ot make a particular style.

Hey everyone. I'm Jen, 18, from Malaysia. DnB and dubstep are not known in my country, very little people listens to them. I'm a hardstyle producer, not a dubstep one. But I'm learning to produce dubstep because hardstyle these days are getting more commercialised and annoying. Good day
