I am going to Berlin in january to see my friend play techno in an old pool somewhere down there. Apperently it's a guy from Kompakt who has booked him. And I'll get a chance to buy vinyl physically for once....

i love goin into my record shop and selectin a tonne of vinyl to listen to
means what i buy is slightly more eclectic now too

late ninetees dnb. when things started to get less breaky as far as I can tell, I think a lot of people must think that's when things started to go downhill (i never really listened to the oldskool stuff, so i dont really have a perspective on that) but some of it is such a heavy evil vibe. almost underproduced, but raw for all that. mad on soundsystems too.
guess thats about the time it made the transition from jungle to dnb? anyone wanna skool me on this stuff?
still love my amens though.
