@Psypher Sounds kinda messy to me. Clean it up a bit with EQ. And I recognize stock FL hats?

@Limenode please read the rules. Track was done well, but idk, I just don't like the style, nothing wrong with it.

@ChadDub add reversed open hi hats or something. That would be a big filler even though it would be subtle. you said it yourself over AIM, subtle things make a big difference.

Here's my newest WIP. Just got the idea after listening to ALOT of Flux Pavilion. Nowhere near finished, just the beginning of the track.

@jrisreal love it epic melody, only problem i see is people saying oh thats sounds like flux you know

@psypher wouldnt go for the wobble style with this nice trance melody but thats just personal beside that nice groove in the bassline

thank you yeah I realize that it sounds too much like flux which is a good and bad thing.
but about your track, it was very interesting. I liked the bass, it sounded kinda like a fart (not intended as a diss). I feel the drums need a bit more power, though.

for some reason your drums sound completely fine to me now musta been my speakers...or something was really wrong with my ears earlier...so nevermind about the drums

@psypher the melodies and wobbles work really well but the mix is well...are you ready?......HORRIBLE.... lol you told me to tear it apart, but melody wise its was better than my 2nd dubstep song, just read the moneyshot and learn about gain structuring, it will make your songs sound a million times better.

@jisreal as you can see i left SC comments, but, i have to ask do you have monitors dude? cause it seems like in all your songs the high end is rather exxagerated, in that wip its just the hi hats in the beginning, i like the melodies and that arp goin in the backround, is that sytrus, all i really would say is work on the snare cause i cant really hear it, other than that, finish it!

@budspencertron how long have you been in the production game? cause your mixdowns are top notch man, i love the direction on that track, and i like how the wobble sounds distant, i would say use the same wobble throughout, but with diff effects on it, like dare i say datsik, but he does like a random eq thats hi cut on the same sound, but it makes it interesting, like in nuke'em, he uses that same wobble throughout but just puts diff effects on it, thats all i really gotta say.

Heres a more chill track ive been workin on, i deff wanna finish it, its a nice break from the brostep, and if you cant tell, i made it with burial in mind

Lol thanks rando! No I don't have monitors...working on the money factor for that. Yeah the arp is Sytrus. I hi-passed the hat in the intro in an attempt to dumb down the drums for a bigger drop lol. I guess I didn't do so great on that.

@rando - (the first song) - yeah i like it, sounds nice. the first kick that comes in is a bit annoying. no top or bottom to it. but the rest of the sounds are nice. try a chord progression or something, cos its a really nice pattern going on, just melodically a bit boring.

jsirreal - that drops a bit unexpected. like i felt it was slightly ahead of the beat. quite nice synth work later though. dont really rate the drums. a bit dry. also, that first synth is a bit annoying. like 90s midi brass. :/ a lot of this is personal taste though.

@lukas - i like the hats, or whatever you've used as hats. vocas are really nice as well. oh, saying that, there isnt any more. get more of those. i love this a lot, i think maybe tone down the wobbles, but i still like it being subtle stuff - sp, icicle wobble shit. i dunno what to suggest... take it further and get more vox?

@RandoRando No issues from me, was expecting more criticism than so far received. About the mix, im still realllly new and im trying to comprehend the moneyshot thread, so far all i've walked away with is that bass needs to be somewhere around -6 - -10db.. not sure... Either way, time will teach i assume.

@randorando thanks man i´m producing a long time but dubstep maybe 2 and half years now ,will definitly try out the hi end resample stuff you mentioned . Your first deeper track i definitly feel, keep your main interest on this one honestly.

BevOh I know you give feedback - but you really should give it BEFORE posting up a new WIP. I see too many of these posts and it shits me. If you're in a cert test - wtf are you doing on dsf!?

@samkablaam wow ambience deluxe, i feel verbed out as fuck. dont know if thats a good thing or not. really nice feel to the track dont know if i like that stuttering kick in the intro though. yeh on second thoughts this feels a bit empty with the verb in some parts. really nice idea though.

@RandoRando ive left you soundloud comments but i have to comment on this again. vocal fits perfectly and the vibe is spot on. really really nice man. only thing i could pick out is there meant to be a lowfi kinda click in the intro sample? cos my monitors are picking that up.

@ChadDub very skrillesq intro man. its like scary monsters x long drive. drop feels like it doesnt really fit the intro try working it in a bit more or giving it time before the drop with some kind of sample/ambience/verb/delay. doesnt mean its not good though. compilation of sounds is nice. very skrillexy again, but hey i like skrillex so well done mate.
