Why did he say he wouldn't release no Swamp81 himself? I mean, is he going to produce any "Swamp81-sound" stuff? I'm really curious about how it would sound.

Lol, sure we are! :)

Did he say why?

If his stuff is more into this new sound it won't get released on DMZ. So where it could be? It must be Swamp81 I think...

couple of toms added... maybe a cowbell or two... don't hear much difference other than that.

There is a Rashad vs Addison Groove Juke Remix which I seem to remember being pretty good.

Not the Footcrab Remix (although that one is pretty good when heard out), there's a Rashad vs Addison Remix of Sexual. I think it's in Rashad & Spinn's We Trippy Mane Mixtape.

To be honest, I didn't like it at all, the Sexual Rmx was one of the only tunes I liked.

I like Rashad & Spinn's more soulful stuff but a lot of footwork stuff I just find... kind of stupid and not very interesting musically. I'm not writing it off or anything though, there's a lot of footwork stuff that I do like, but I think Rashad & Spinn could have done better in this instance.

Why? Just because DMZ is traditionally a dubstep label it doesn't mean it won't cover more 'experimental' ground in the future; Loefah is still 1/3 of the label so I'm sure Mala and Coki will encourage his newer direction -- not force him to release halfstep...

As long as it's good, and in keeping with the 'meditate on bassweight' maxim, why wouldn't they put it out?

Trevino is the name Marcus Intalex has adopted for his ventures into house and techno productions. Trevino music has been receiving heavy praise and support from top players in the 120-130bpm electronic music scene including Scuba, Oneman, Loefah, & Alexander Nut
