Curious to see who gets it in the last episode. I don't want to speculate, but I imagine it will be absolute Carnage.

I'd have to say Lydia has been one my favorite characters this season. Her nervous ticks and demeanor hide her evil nature which we saw on full display last episode with her out for blood on Skylar.

So will Walt poison Skyler to keep the kids safe? Knowing that if she's dead, the sizan would have no motive to track her down and therefore, kill his children when they're with her? She's the witness, the kids aren't.

That wouldn't explain the gun cuz he's plannign to take them out but that would explain Walt's reaction to taking the ricin and taking her maiden name.

It blows my mind how many people in this thread are still backing Walt. I would *love* to see him get merked.

He's the most inconsistent, throughout the whole thing he's claimed this is all for his family. Bullshit, it's all ego.

i dont really think anythings gonna happen with grey matter, the point of that scene was just to highlight that blue meth is still out there (and probably to imply jesse is still alive cooking it for the sizan), and to remind walt what happened the last time someone took over his "empire". there's just not enough time in 1 episode for walt to go after both the sizan and grey matter

I've heard from a couple of people the last episode is 75 minutes long. The standard episodes are like what, 45 minutes?

The grey matter bit was mostly there to fan the flames. Why would Walt draw attention to himself by trying to take down 2 high profile personalities that have had personal and professional ties to him? Major distraction from his main motivation atm, which securing cashflow to his kids. He knows there's blue meth and he was re-inspired by Grey Matter's public dissociation from him to prove to himself that he can get shit done.

The line between Walt and Heisenberg is blurry as shit now. I think Heisenberg motivates Walter right now. But I do believe that his main objective is to get the cash to his kids. Even if that's in part because he wants to secure his legacy

Walt was going to let the cops get him, because he could not get money to his family (Junior made it clear to him that they don't want anything from him) which was why he has done all the shit he's done. He realized that he has no reason to live anymore. But the Grey Matter bit made him think that if he has to go down, he has to take down with him his only legacy which is his trademark, the blue meth. So I think it won't be a 100% rampage finale. He will concentrate on only one task which is make sure that the blue meth is no longer produced after he is gone (dead or in prison).

i still have the most sympathies with jessie even tho he never gets/got any shit done. hes just a poor kid that fucks up everything he touches but ultimately hes one of the few left with a sense of morality (even tho walt claims to cook meth for his familiy etc, it's clear that he only seeks power for the sake of power; hank was is for the fame; skylars greedy&selfish). jessies list of fuckups is long, from getting his ex back into drugs to murder, still i think that's because he acts instinctly/emotionally driven on the grounds of not having any real purpose in life (job/life achievements/family/goals other than getting high & money) and not because he's morally corrupted (eg hes not a 'bad' person per se, he just seeks the acknowledgement of others and is afraid of being redundant (see his family and his former belief of walt as a substitute father)).

the escape attempt was inevitable, he knew that they were about to kill him once the meth consistently got up to a mid 90s purity level . but then as it's always the case with jessie, once he got out of the cage his brain shut down.

the killing of andrea was proper grim, jessies reaction was really hard to watch (shouts to aaron paul for the acting).
