Is it official?
apparantly so. he was at the wolves game, and hes been training, i heard it was gonna happen quite a while ago from a friend of mine at London Colney (afc training ground) he reckoned no one could get the ball off him, hes still in good shape. this was about a 3 weeks ago, so im pretty sure its been in the pipeline for a while.
he said he was v interested in a loan deal, so im staying optimistic and keeping my fingers crossed. dont think anything can happen til the 1st officially, i presume thats when the window opens....
You've just gotta hope NY Red Bulls agree to it.

Just billed the company for 14 hours overtime @ double hourly rate for helping out the team next to mine last week when they were swamped with work. Should be coming through in the Janaury pay packet

If the cash is right, you know they will. Such is the case with any top player coming to the MLS. Its a shame though, it'd be nice to land some decent foreign players for a decent amount of time...

We're only asking for a loan... he'll be going back once the MLS kicks off again.

Didn't LA Galaxy refuse to let Golden Balls go on loan to Spurs(?) though?
Despite the money I think they are actually concerned about their players coming back shattered and more susceptible to injury. Especially at the ages those guys are. Not to mention devaluing their league.

Yeah... fitness is the issue, I suppose. If he got injured playing for Arsenal, I imagine they wouldn't be too happy... but then, he's also going to be kept matchfit and sharp so he won't be suffering from the usual start-of-the-season rust that players tend to get when the season starts again in NY.
Could the MLS be devalued any further?

Galaxy let him out 2009 and 2010 to Milan though. Pretty sure Henry's wishes will be taken into account. This is one I can defo see happening as theyll be losing Gervinho for the African Nations soon.
Pretty sure Donovan is going Everton again too.

Didn't realize it was on loan, and I didn't really understand loans until now anyways lol (don't pay enough attention to the politics of the game). Its just such a different system.
