Always good to go the gym, just make sure you're respectful of other people in there and you're actually putting your money to good use!

Out to the two eastern european gentlemen who had obviously been eating a physical manifestation of body odour for the past three days and decided it was a good idea to not wash and come to the gym.
You smelly, smelly stnuc.

One of my favourite overheard conversations at my gym was a few years ago when a guy suffering the most rancid BO, wearing stained tracky b's, tattered t-shirt with yellow sweat stains was telling his mate how all Polish people are tramps.

Yeah I suppose I judged them a bit unfairly - they could have been from anywhere and spent all of their soap budget on whatever-eastern-european-language-it-was-they-were-talking lessons.

Didn't want to workout today as I had a slight hangover. Still did it and hammered it! Feel much much better now too.

nice work
Had my first workout for 2014 and smashed a deadlift BP. Added 10kg like it was nothing.
I'm also changing my workout to more of a conditioning routine for the next 3 months. Looking forward to reducing my bf and leaning up a bit.

Well done bro! Now that you can bench 20kg, you can really start making some progress!

n00b gains are the best, wish I could have them every year
Going back to the gym today after an extended week of dirty bulking involving having steak and roast dinners whenever I could. Saw my mates back from for the first time in six months and got lots of comments along the lines of "you've filled out a bit" without the "you fat bastard" suffix, so obviously doing something right

So I spent some time over the holidays planning out what my daily routines would be, new sleep patterns (much earlier starts, much earlier bedtime), less weed, more food and small exercise breaks (I work from home) and then weights or climbing everyday. Still struggling with motivation for the heavy exercise sessions, still think I need a gym buddy. But more motivated than I was last year after the nice long holiday.

My best mate is my gym buddy, and he is one of the laziest shits I know, so for long periods, he'll just sack off the gym and I get nothing done, I rush shit, take less risks because there's often nobody to spot me, I have no competitive drive because it's just me.
