I think you've nailed it, competition. I got noone to compete with, especially because I work out at home.

Nice work! I'm at 85 kg atm. Which is (google) 187 pounds. Gained a small bit over 1 kg on creatine.

Thinking last night, was discussing groceries and had the idea of making a sweet potato and brocolli soup and what that would taste like (pretty good was the consensus). Then thought about adding some chicken in as well, and making it a sweet potato, brocolli and chicken soup.

Now, considering that I have baked sweet potato, roasted chicken and steamed brocolli most days for lunch, what is to stop me making a soup of those ingredients and having it as a liquid meal. If it's the same amount of food then the nutrients will be the same...does it being 'liquid' (soup) vs. solid (not soup) make a difference in any way?

What's the deal with pull ups, I've been doing them a lot lately and can never do more than 7, I feel like I'm getting better at them but just can't seem to do more than that

Also, been skipping a lot lately, eating well and only drinking neat whisky, no beer or anything, feeling healthy

um, dunno the lingo, hands shoulder width apart, knuckles facing forwards, like a normal pull up

Terpit, are you capable of seven per set or seven in total? Either way, when you can't do any more, try jumping up (cheating) to the finish position and lowering yourself down slowly to the start position. You will find you still have energy in the tank for the downward motion..

I tend to do 3 sets, 7-7-6

I'll try lowering myself more slowly but not sure about the jumping bit, might try hold it at the top for a little longer

OK so you can do twenty in total. Why not try doing five sets of five so you get twenty-five in total.
