Greeting dub peers, still relatively new to dub and dnb (listening to and producing). Appreciate the solid community for feedback and such.
Kudos brothers

Newcomer to the boards and also a newcomer to producing dubstep. I've learned a few things from tutorials and watching a buddy produce over at his place. I'm not a newcomer to electronic music, so I've been catching on to things quickly. I don't have any finished tracks yet, but I will soon. I've been lurking these forums for a day or two and I like the positive attitudes that people have around here.

whats happening? new to the dubstep scene. actually been listening to it for almost 2 years now when a friend got me into bluetech. more on the downtempo ambient side but none the less i never heard anything like it and was interested in checking out more. that got me to do more checking out on my own and got into PHUTUREPRIMITIVE, shpongle, OTT, sounds from the ground, orb, left coast liquid, etc. the othernight went to my first dubstep show in cambridge,ma and saw phutureprimitive who i am a huge fan of. gotta say, im really feelin the dubstep scene. the music, the atmosphere. people seem real chill and laid back. hoping to maybe connect with some people and find out about some dubstep clubs around my area and just learn more about the genera.

Newbie here from Long Island, NY. Been into dubstep for a couple of years now, and I find myself sitting here surprised at two things: 1 - The sharp rise in popularity of dubstep in the US recently, and 2 - That I haven't joined this forum sooner.
I started DJing and producing last year, and have been trying to hone my skills since then. I'm hoping that my stay here will provide me with some constructive feedback, good people, and good tunes!

hey all not new to dubstep but new to the forum (although been reading posts on and off for a couple of months!), loads of great music around and great to find somewhere to hear new tunes! I'm part of a live experimental dnb/ dubstep band so thought it'd be cool to hear what people into some of the same music think... and hopefully find some people that like it!

What's good guys?
My name's Kyle, I'm a Criminal Justice/English major at Indiana University. I've been writing music since my freshman year of high school (5ish years ago), but it was mostly for guitar. I came to IU in the fall and my friend showed me Caspa's Where's My Money track and other dubstep remixes when I was blazed one night. I was captivated by how different and (Escalation - The Rogue Element) "free" the music was. When I say free, I mean it, for the most part, doesn't follow the same formula used to make pop, rock, rap, etc. I could never escape this formula when I played guitar, and I felt like I could if I produced dubstep.
I downloaded FL Studio 9 in late December of 2010 and have been attempting to produce dubstep and analyze it at the same time. I love Excision, Datsik, N-Type, Flux Pavilion, Shadowplay... I really love it all. (Crunch - Datsik & Flux Pavilion)
I joined the forums because my exposure to dubstep isn't great. I listen to whatever I can find on Youtube, the Pandora dubstep station, and random links my friends send me. I think that if I go somewhere to find more dubstep, I might as well come here.
It'd be cool to collaborate with someone on a track or two. Like I said, I've only been producing for three months; I'm nowhere near professional-level. However, I can only get better. Here's a song of mine, it isn't finished yet.

Critisim would be great on any of my tracks from my Youtube channel. I look forward to getting to know a lot of you and I thank you in advance for the help I'll receive here.
(By the way, the songs in parentheses are the songs I was listening to at that time. I thought it'd be interesting to post whatever I'm listening to.) (Calypso - Excision & Datsik)

				Hi! I'm 25 from Merseyside.
Been into dubstep since around 2006, don't enjoy the mid range stuff much prefer the darker sound ala Youngsta on Rinse fm [Obviously!]
Been having a go at producing here and there ain't done anything in 2 years though so looking for tips and tricks!!!

				Greetings fellow dubbers.
Currently living in Kent UK, been writing music for a while but only got into dubstep bout a year ago. Due to my Heavy Metal soaked history, I am more of a fan of the brostep/filthstep scene ala Excision, Skrillex, Zimo etc. Will hopefully have an EP of my stuff out soon, until then please visit my soundcloud (in signature) and tell me what you think
