Oh shit, was researching that, and looking for the vcr we had when I was a kid, and came upon this little device. We didn't have this, but I remember someone did:

I think we had one of these bad boys, or something very similar to it. Those buttons are dope, you have to admit. Take head industrial designers. Get some Mondrian shit on your vcr, those were the days.

Check out this class act:

Deborah, let me show you a video of the first time John and I shared a woman. We were back on the peninsula to hammer out the details of a drilling deal and we took a two day camel ride to the sultan's pleasure palace where he kept his slave girls and concubines. There, we were introduced to Adara, but she was no virgin, was she John?

So the PO-16 was the one I thought I was least interested in but it actually sounds... Interesting. In a good way. Next time someone around here asks about a good cheap hardware synth I just might reply with this.

^This stuff is cool. I'm glad that companies are making things like this. I love seeing what people can do with a set of Volcas or this PO series ya know? For me they end up being just goof off toys and distractions lol. Not to say you can't get useful sounds out of 'em.

I dunno, I guess I'm saying for me for the price of all the POs or Volcas I'm on my way to something more versatile and solid.

I just want to see like a whole genre of music based on only using Volcas or only POs ...would be cool...like the Gameboy chiptune stuff.

I think you underestimate the power of the dark side.

Well. I meant that metaphorically more than literally. Don't do that Vader force choke thing through the internet to me please. :corncry:

A fun vintage analog monosynth for a reasonable price. It is dco, but there is some magic to the osc, they did something weird, like the dco affects a voltage control that affects the oscillator.

Item location:
Boreham , Chelmsford, Essex,

I just spent more than $1100 on car repairs. Ouch!! That puts a bit of dent in my wallet and my gear lust.

I also put my Rhodes Seventy-Three Mark I up for sale this week.

Oh shit! That is like a fair trade right there. And those car repairs will fade into nothing, but that Rhodes... it is like the Rock of Gibraltar...

Don't worry though. You'll be a security guy, companies are going to throw money at you, you'll be one of those GearSlutz dudes with $100,000 synth collection that you have no time to use.

DeepForest posted up a picture of his studio, jebzus christ...

This guy? Pretty nice!

I already have no time to use this stuff. Its frustrating. Hopefully when I finish this degree, I can start making more music again.

Hans Zimmer's studio is nuts. That whole wall of modular analog plus he's got another modular area... Damn
