Dah-Un is finally coming out ! Got a label to sign it who I really trust and know will do it proud! .
A dubstep track released this week on one of my favorite labels.
I'm a "vinylmate" of Broken Note, Bong-ra, Niveau Zero ... it sounds unbelievable

Don't know if this is really much of an achievement, but it was pretty cool to me.
I don't really advertise myself anywhere aside from here, soundcloud, and possibly another forum or 2 every once in awhile. Personally I don't think my productions are good enough to where I feel comfortable enough to actually try to promote myself in any real fashion. Nobody who knows me even knows I'm trying to produce music, not even my family, aside from my brother who I've had listen to a couple tracks.
However, I was at a party at my friends house and all of the sudden one of my songs started playing. At first I thought I had just maybe stolen someone's song without even realizing it, but sure enough it really was mine. At first I was a bit worried that everyone would start talking about how much it sucked, but most of the people there seemed to enjoy it, or at least not hate it enough to voice their opinion of it. Which, considering none of my music could really be considered "Party Music", at least says something. The person who had actually played the song told me he found it on Blip.fm and last.fm which I had no idea it was even there, or who put it there for that matter, cause I definitely didn't upload it to last.fm myself.
Yea, maybe not so much of an achievement, but it was pretty cool none the less.

Old thread bumped I know, but I made a track I was really pleased about and could quite possibly call my best track yet.

Got one of my dubstep mini mixes on some small promoters youtube channel which is pretty cool. The same mini mix has hit 40 downloads which is good for where I am atm. Gonna see if I can get at least one of my tunes signed sometime this year or next so game on.

Sounds about right to be honest, not everybody who download will 1. have an account 2. bother to comment.
