Launch Party was wicked Thursday, album out today just got it

haha this review from Boomkat is great -

These last two Horsepower releases have sounded like a proper darkside trip, reminds me of RZA's "Gravediggaz" style but without the comedy.

Heavy hitter, Kingstep is particularly huge.

I ordered it at the same time as the new RSD records so I don't think mine will be sent til Friday. Still, I've waited long enough, a few more days isn't going to hurt! Looking forward to it!

it's the first track, Rain - there's loads of info on the sleevenotes including all the collabs and past/present members of Horsepower.

Yes, point taken..

But for the record it was added as an afterthought because it went with the theme of the track, Rain.

Of course we knew it had been kaned but this is OUR version haha

The original dubplate version as played by Orson is without the offending sample

Big up horsepower, everything about this LP is fantastic, from the nicely pressed vinyl, to the shoutouts, descriptions on the back, to the artwork, to the tunes... best purchase all year

even the tunes pressed at 33 sound fantastic.. oh my days, may have to buy another copy for keepsies

You put your album up for free download with a trojan in it? Now that is an interesting take on fighting piracy. Anyone who would pirate HP material is a scumbag anyway.

Anyway, my copy arrived today and I just wanted to say a big thankyou to Benny and all other Horsepower crew cos it's amazing and was actually worth the wait!

PS. That tears in the rain sample is dope, don't care how many times it's been used.

What if I wanted to download a digital copy for my iPod even though I've bought the vinyl? Does it come with a free download for the digital tracks or what?

Huge LP. Cant wait for the 3x12" to arrive. From the soundfiles I liked each tune on this album. Great stuff!!!
