good point. id freeze infront of the 'bbc'gastapo. and too right big up joe.
It's not THAT bad being on TV. I've been on Blue peter twice and the hardest
part for me was trying not get a stiffy looking at Konnie Huq. (Quite hard when you're 14.)

It's not about performing (with a boner) when you have millions of kids watching you
live.

I'm pretty sure Paxman would fuck me up though if I had to go on Newsnight or something.

i dont think its so much that he should be treated better because hes disabled, but asking a guy that cannot move himself properly if he was attacking the police is like having a debate with a deaf guy & asking him why hes not answering your vocal questions.at what point of disablility would this become a ridiculous question? stephen hawking pre-stem cells disabled? would he still be asked if he attacked the police?

how about a student with polio who is medically required to use a cane? if he is walking towards a police officer does it give the cops a right to shoot him multiple times in the face with an assault rifle? if it was a football player with a violent history & a machete, maybe...

...but i guess im just being overly sensitive hm. or maybe people should stop questioning the guy about what is obvious & go to the REAL issue at hand. police brutality & excessive use of force worldwide. disabled or not, this is getting out of control.

maybe they should give people in wheelchairs the same amount of space as everyone else on a bus?
maybe they shouldnt install audio devices to help people with hearing aids in venues?
maybe as i said all seats should have equal legroom on a bus which would lead to my discomfort being 6 foot 5?
i appreciate what you say and regarding physical matters, but the man Jody McIntyre is in full control of his mind and I'm sure he can deal with the questions.

But that still doesnt give the piggy a right to drag him out of his wheelchair... does it?

No. They used excessive force.

However, they will defend themselves by saying they were in a high pressure situation and he was posing "a threat" to their operation, however minimal that threat was.

How many people in this thread have made complaints to the BBC, The Metropolitan Police Force, their MP?

I would wager none.

nah i really didnt write it lol

but its not that its unfair that the guy gave him those questions, like he would have struggled with them, its that he didnt do any background work into perhaps why hes in a wheelchair and whether its possible for him to function without a helper?

jus sayin he is a news reporter, its his job to do that sort of stuff

and if it isnt, well then it should be

The guy in the wheel chair was dragged out by police officers, the bbc decided to blame the guy in the wheel chair. The issue here, is how authority is trying to subvert the blame away from the real wrong doers.

Don't know why y'all arguing for.

joey, you're probably reading this. don't watch the devil's advocates on a handicap hype. what you did is dissent, and regardless of what spin they want to put on it in the media, you added your oil to the fire, and brought more attention to the issue.

Can't see much coming from this all though.

i said he has a disability regarding his speech

he's clearly very intelligent

hopefully it'll blow over and everyone can go back to not caring about police brutality until the next time it happens to an educated white guy on television.
