The main genre is EDM (Electronic Dance Music). If it has an electric beat, it's EDM. EDM got broken up into all of these little sub-genre's (Trap, Dubstep, Trance, Moombahton, etc.). So instead of everyone calling it EDM, it's simplified. Chillstep can be considered Dubstep, but it's nice & calm, hence the sub-genre "Chillstep". It is still Dubstep, it's just a sub-genre called "Chillstep". SMH... does anyone know PLUR?
