Is this directed toward me? Don't really get what you're trying to say but no one can deny that acid basslines have been a huge trend this year. Last year almost no one from the UK Bass scene used it in their tracks, and now everyone's raving about them.
Personally, I think Swims could be labeled as a remix.
no it was more a general blanket comment to everyone - i was refering to the acid house of the 80s where you would find one lyric used on loads of top draw records, sometimes the lyric is barely changed, sometimes it would be chopped - but you'd find the same lyric used over and over in a short space of time - all those tunes were straight fire so not sure what the beef is with joy o and boddikas rehash of a lyric!
who remembers this lyric and the ton of rehashes of it?!
Yeah its a good point and boddika really knows his way round a 303! Made me laugh with the whole goldie and a1 bassline beef especially seeing the only thing he used out of the bad company song were samples anyways. He would of be better of not giving them any credit at all and naming it his own work. Seems to of turned out ok in the instance.
