I thought you'd have to show proof of purchase before you board the boat, so how can you swap? Wouldn't they ask to see the card you used to pay for it?

I think the ticket will suffice.

last year you go to the ticket office with your print out and they give you like some temporary 'boat ticket' you rolled up to the boat party gave them your ticket said your name they checked you off a list and then you hopped on.
Correct me if I can't remember that properly

So wack. I'm from USA but it seems like no one from North America was able to buy tickets at all. Kept declining my card even though everything was entered correctly. :(

So who's got my True Tiger and Swamp 81 tickets?

Kinda like that, depending on how organised they were for the particular boat.

ye, bullshit isn't it? from my experience with buying tickets abroad you have to let your credit card company know ahead of time that you want to purchase something out of the country, otherwise it'll get blocked. my friend scored a couple tickets through a link on NME rather than directly from the ticket site and he's the only one i know who had any luck.

I was on the phone with my bank as I tried to purchase tickets, didn't work. They never saw the transaction going through much less being declined.

Ah, I see. This is my first time at Outlook, and any shows I've been to that use e-tickets will always ask for your name and to see your card.

UK really needs to up their game with regards to etickets if they are like these. No individual barcodes, no anti fraud devices nothing. emails can take up to 24 hous arrive to punters after processing... must be a nightmare to process these at gigs etc.

this is sort of industry standard here in NZ:

Is this the sort of ticketing proceedure that you guys are used to over there? must be massive potentials for someone to offer a decent solution to the brits!

Managed to get 2 boat party tickets for Deep Medi and 2 for Tectonic boat, thought i was gonna miss out on the boats cause of the ridicilious ticketsystem, but it all went well.
Would loved to have been on the shogun audio too, but by the time i ordered the other 2, shogun was sold out..

Deep Medi tickets kept going back on and off sale for a good half hour it was strange.

The UK has all that as well, I don't think Outlook want to take barcode readers to Croatia. Tis a bit long.
If anything, Seetickets needs to up their game in regard to the 24hr email thing but even then, I doubt that is their S.O.P.

I think it's good to go on 2 boats, 1 during the day and 1 in the evening. The daytime ones are usually quite chilled and fun (plus you don't miss as much since most people who play the beach party will play at night as well), the evening ones you want just for the sunset vibes (and then legging it to the fort to catch whoever). I doubt anyone who's been on the Tectonic boat before would miss going back on it if they can help it, such a good time.

Seetickets worked out well for me, got both confirmation emails within 30min.

Fuck daytime boats. I was so hungover from the night before, I felt ill on the boat. Still managed to get my dance on, my lass however spent most of the time sipping water at the front of the boat. Tectonic was big last year though!

Decided we'll do an evening one, as the sunsets. :h:

Yeah sunset = Win
Sea air + Wind + Still being in shorts and t shirt = actually quite chilly. I advise you bring an extra layer.
