Gunna start getting into this.. Have about 9-10 articles ive written sitting there on my hard drive (extensive ones) and a few ideas...

My mrs is well into blogging and she uses a site called BlogLovin'

Its really decent actually; you follow people on there, then every time they post it sets it up like a slideshow, you read their post, comment, click next and it brings up the next person's blog, dunno if this'll work with ad-s though!

Adsense is pretty tightly integrated into blogger. All of my followers are on blogger, just seems to make everything easier.

well all it is, is its bookmarks peoples blogs and rss feeds their new posts, its still blogger just via a different site.

Just sounds like a fancy version of blogger's dashboard... is there any interactivity with the person's actual blog? or is there a generic skin that you view everyones posts through..

leg: knells people are flippin dippin awesome. The trick here is not as much the content you produce, but your visibility to your followers. I spend more time reading and commenting than developing my own content (by far).

If you are up for being a social butterfly, this will work wonders for you. My god.

comment and follow as many active mofos as you can wub, i spent an hour and a half going through knells followers commenting and adding. then made my daily posts all in all 2 hours of work. lets see if it gets me any where today.

Added and commented every fucker on that list, still only got 36 followers though, most of which are probably dead accounts.

haha i love my followers, i have an eye for picking out the good ones, then it's all about subtle interactions.

you do have to write quality posts if you want comments that aren't blogspam though.

okay, i'm experiencing something kind of weird... if i use the toolbar at the top of someone's blog to follow them, it will confirm that i started following them, but wont actually add them to my following list any more. i can click it over and over and it acts like i haven't followed them yet each time.

i can still follow using the friend connect thing, but not everyone has that.

ergh... anyone else dealing with this or is just me?

I had a similar issue when i first started, it was some kind of conflict between my google account and the yahoo email address that i used to sign up to blogger with.

hmm weird, it only just started randomly for me, when i noticed i was following a bunch of blogs but the number stayed the same. glad i can still use the friend connect feature, otherwise my whole operation would be gutted.
