Where did your skinny pins lead to under that tutu?

RIP yu poor sod.
to be honest the answer to those questions would probably be something like 'shut up you wanker and give me a drink'

And today, in honour of Amy Winehouse, I am going to go to the gym. For the first time in about six months. She's just reminded me why I should.

HAHAHA

I laughed but I don't know why.
To be dull-headed, what does this mean?

One less knobhead. Doesn't matter if your talented, she was still a crack head. :t:

Now all we need is Pete Doherty to go and order shall be restored. Oh and take the singer from Razorlight with you too, just for shits.

very true

but a love of life or a hatred of it isn't strictly governed by how much self control you have... in contrast to that point remember you're posting in a thread about Amy Winehouse... who drank/smoked and injected herself to death uncontrollably

as with everything in life, balance is key, achieving it through positive actions rather than negative ones

where you would do nothing, do something but not too much

I didn't know her so this is only a bit sad because we won't get another record as good as Tears Dry On Their Own. Most of her non-Back To Black stuff wasn't that much cop, but there's no doubt she had a fine pair of lungs on her and knew how to sing big-band blues about as well as anyone I can think of of our generation (not that there was too much competition).

I imagine she always expected it to end up this way... she even managed to get herself into the 27 club. She lived a dream... she just picked a pretty short one.

RIP

Perhaps Camden will burn down less often now.

I am speaking specifically of your misguided notions of misanthropy, you say you hate everything, yet you have a girlfriend. Not possible. Unless you do not consumate your relationship of course. Many people flirt with philosophical ideals which do not match their actual lives. You'll realise when you grow up

does seem a little inconsistent to dislike humanity but at the same time have a supposedly emotional and intimate relationship with another human being, doesn't it?

not trying to stir anything up, however, saying you hate the whole of humanity is quite a harsh statement imo

:w:

Hmmm, idk, the way I understand misanthropy, hating humanity isn't necessarily the same as hating the 'whole of humanity' (if you see the difference)

Frank is better imo (although the knowledge Mark Ronson had his greasy little cunty mitts over Back 2 Black may have something to do with that...). I actually think her song writing hasn't been getting enough credit either...they keep saying we've lost a great voice...but her voice was only a part of her talent.

And yeah...we have her to thank for clearing the way for a bunch of female white soul singers - Just like Duffy (ok...not her.....maybe Adele though?).

It's a shame the people closest to her were unable to help her...she'd be gone for quite a while. She should NEVER have been put on that tour in Serbia. Her label said it's not their responsibility to make sure their artists aren't doing too many drugs....but I bet they fucking loved the column inches.

I objectify humanity as a species when I say I hate humanity. And how do you know we have an emotional and intimate relationship? Because that's fucking news to me!
